Challenge topic is locked: “Is it real?” Hand in by 8.5, screening 10.5.2026. The prompt phrase has to show up in dialogue somewhere, runtime 2-12 minutes, Jury’s Choice and Audience Favorite both up for grabs.

Writing groups pivoted straight to challenge scripts this week, and we handed out a pitch-deck template for anyone who wants one. Ten brainstorming groups cranked out 22-plus story ideas at the kickoff itself. Not all of them will become films. Some of them should.
