We announced Moviesprint, our 72-hour short film event, is coming back in September.

Practical tip from the room: you can teach someone to record decent sound in about an hour, and a full kit (recorder, boom, shotgun mic) rents for around 60€/day, often just one day’s charge if you time it over a weekend. Ask for the student/no-budget rate, it exists more often than people think.

Challenge status: three weeks left, 20 projects registered. New pitch: a gothic psychological horror short with a ritual scene and a big crew, flexible partial-day participation welcome if you can’t commit to the whole shoot.
