A ~65-minute dramedy (think Lady Bird) about a Berlin teenager and photographer navigating a high-stakes art competition. The filmmaker’s earlier short hit 100,000 YouTube views and played a Karlsruhe festival, and this one already got table-read at our writing meetup. Now it’s shooting a proof-of-concept scene in an actual tattoo parlor.

Also pitched: a surreal dark comedy about an ex-couple who can’t fully separate (Eternal Sunshine and Being John Malkovich energy), and a 3-part sex-anthology comedy with a finished 4-page script already in hand. Screened: the Karlsruhe-festival short, and a bachelor short about ketchup. Yes, another ketchup one. We have a type, apparently.
