Challenge check-ins: a completed train-station short, an “everyday thoughts” short in editing, the male-friendship/loneliness short now in sound and color, and the mother-focused psychotic-break drama, delayed past deadline by casting and scheduling but still finishing.

New pitches: a Requiem for a Dream-style gothic horror night out, a “normal people vs. the mafia” crime-romance teaser, and a vibes-based Alzheimer’s short about a grandfather-granddaughter relationship, looking for Finnish or Swedish co-writers.

Screened: a reincarnation-themed stage-influenced short, a Spanish/Colombian-language trauma documentary shot at Tempelhofer Feld, and a short that had to be re-edited after its lead actor, known from a TV series, left mid-shoot following a conflict with a crew technician. Filmmaking, everybody.
