Sunday’s meetup got a little spooky.

One of the projects pitched this week is a set of three vertical horror shorts, all planned to be shot here in Berlin. The scripts are already written, the concept is taking shape, and now it’s about finding the people who want to make it happen.

The project: Three vertical horror shorts set to shoot in Berlin.

The plan: Four scripts are already written. Three will be shot in one day, with the possibility of coming back for more later.

Shoot window: Late September or October, depending on team and location availability.

Shoot time: Around four hours.

What’s ready: A pitch video/concept is being prepared to share with potential collaborators.

Looking for:

🎭 3 actors who can handle outfit changes
👹 1 creature performer for a hallway scene
🎥 Cinematographer to get the lighting right and make the hallway feel genuinely spooky
🧟 Practical effects specialist for the creature
💄 Wardrobe, hair & makeup
🏠 Production designer
📸 Behind-the-scenes photographer

There may already be a practical effects collaborator from a previous project called Bone, but they’re likely leaving Berlin and may not be available.

The host also encouraged everyone to use the break to talk to Chris if they were interested, or to pitch their own project, skills, or idea to the group.
